The Tone Shop Guitars Made to Measure Chambered '58 Les Paul brings vintage Les Paul magic into the present with the same meticulous construction as the legendary ’59 reissues—but with distinctive ’58 specs and the added comfort of a chambered body. Every top and back has been hand-selected by our team for exceptional appearance and tonal potential. The VOS (Vintage Original Spec) nitrocellulose finish delivers classic Les Paul looks and feel.
A 2-piece plain maple top sits over a one-piece lightweight mahogany back, with no weight relief for the purest tone and sustain. The chunky, round 50s Medium C-profile neck is perfect for players who appreciate a substantial, vintage-style feel. Historic narrow/tall frets, long tenon neck joint, and Indian rosewood fingerboard round out the vintage playing experience.
Loaded with unpotted Custombucker Alnico 3 pickups, this Les Paul offers the fat, clear, and harmonically rich tone the Golden Era is famous for—responsive and dynamic, whether you play clean or pushed. Hardware and appointments are historically accurate, from the no-wire ABR-1 bridge and lightweight aluminum stopbar to the Kluson tuners and butyrate plastics.
