It is often compared visually to Honduran rosewood, and builders commonly describe its response as landing somewhere between mahogany and rosewood: a crisp attack and strong fundamental with more sustain and harmonic complexity than a typical mahogany-backed guitar. It is still an uncommon acoustic tonewood, which is a big part of what makes this build interesting.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThe Adirondack spruce top uses forward-shifted, scalloped 5\/16\" Golden Era X-bracing made from Adirondack spruce and hand-shaped by Martin.
