The Fender Custom Shop 1950s Thinline Telecaster Journeyman Relic in Aged Fiesta Red marries classic ash body resonance with a hollow construction and elegant F-hole for greater acoustic response, effortless playability, and distinctive visual flair. Meticulously relic’d for vintage look and feel, this is the Thinline that dreams are made of—perfect for discerning players, collectors, and stage heroes alike.

The two-piece ash body (no sort, lightweight spread) is shaped to 1951 Nocaster specs, finished in luscious Aged Fiesta Red lacquer, and features a single F-hole for enhanced openness and sustain. The Journeyman Relic process delivers the “played but loved” look—light finish checking, natural wear, and patina that makes this Tele feel like a well-kept secret from the golden age.

The quarter-sawn maple neck is carved to a chunky, period-correct 1957 soft "V" profile (.880" at the 1st fret, .990" at the 12th), topped with a 9.5” radius maple fretboard and 21 narrow tall (6105) frets for modern bends and chording comfort. Classic details abound: vintage black Micarta dots, bone nut (1.650"), medium tint nitro finish, and vintage silver Telecaster logo.

Under the hood, you’ll find Hand-Wound Tele Texas Special pickups for hot, twangy, and expressive tones, paired with a Modern Tele wiring harness and Greasebucket™ tone circuit. All hardware is chrome/nickel, including a vintage Tele bridge and engraved limited edition neck plate. The relic’d parchment pickguard and aged control knobs round out the aesthetic.
