The result is this exclusive Made 2 Measure Chambered ’59 Les Paul, custom built by the Gibson Custom Shop and aged to perfection by the Murphy Lab.

This isn’t just a tribute — it’s a faithful recreation. Every detail is drawn from the originals: laser-scanned dimensions, chemically recreated plastics, color-matched sunburst finishes, and era-accurate construction techniques like hide-glue joints and long neck tenons. And thanks to chambered weight relief, it feels as good on your shoulder as it sounds through your amp.
