Hey, it's Doty here from Tone Shop Guitars. It's our 11th anniversary this month, and this week we're celebrating Martin guitars.

I have Martin ship me wood from the custom shop, you can hand select your own set of wood, design your own custom guitar from the ground up. Jimmie's coming in from the custom shop to help with the process. It's awesome.

I get to go to the factory all the time and pick out woods for all of our customs, spec them out exactly the way I want them. This is a rare opportunity for you to do the same. So I'm scheduling appointments, Friday the 9th and Saturday the 10th. They are gonna be hour-long appointments, and they're filling up very quickly.

How your appointment works

  1. Book an hour

    Start a chat with us and we'll find a time that works for you on Friday or Saturday. Every appointment is a full hour, and the two days only hold so many.

  2. Choose your back and sides set

    Martin is sending sets straight from the factory. You'll see them and handle them in person, then pick the one your guitar gets built from.

  3. Design the Guitar with Doty & Jimmie

    Doty and Jimmie Kleintop, Custom Shop Sales Specialist at Martin, walks you through Martin's custom builder to spec everything else, from body shape and top to neck and inlays.

  4. Place your order

    A deposit secures your build, and Martin builds your guitar at its Custom Shop in Nazareth, Pennsylvania.
