Collings MF Mandolin Gloss Top Sunburst w/Case F2410

The Collings MF is a professional F-style mandolin built with the same care and precision found throughout the Collings mandolin line, but with a cleaner appointment package and a more workhorse-focused feel. This one adds the Gloss Top option to the standard Sunburst finish, giving it a slightly more elevated look while keeping the straightforward MF character intact.

The fully carved Adirondack spruce top gives the MF the dry chop, projection, and clarity players want from a great f-hole mandolin. Eastern flamed maple back, sides, and neck add focus, brightness, and visual depth, making this a strong choice for bluegrass, acoustic ensemble work, recording, and live performance.

The F-style body keeps the response tight and immediate, while tone-bar bracing helps deliver the cut and punch that make the MF such a useful player’s instrument. It is simple by Collings standards, but not stripped down where it matters.

The rounded V neck profile, ebony fingerboard, 13 7/8" scale length, 1 1/8" nut width, and compound fingerboard radius give the instrument a comfortable, precise feel. Medium 18% nickel-silver frets, fully adjustable truss rod, ebony bridge with adjustable saddle, and Collings original tailpiece complete the setup.

Nickel Gotoh tuners with black buttons, an ebony peghead veneer with MOP Collings logo, tortoise top binding, and a deluxe hardshell case round out the build.
