The Collings OM2 A HC Hill Country in Sunburst takes the familiar OM platform in a noticeably different direction, pairing an Adirondack spruce top with East Indian rosewood back and sides and Collings’ dedicated Hill Country construction and voicing. This example adds the optional Sunburst top for a more vintage-inspired look.

The Hill Country build is designed around a stronger fundamental response with a warm, woody character and full low end. Adirondack spruce tops every OM2 A HC, while East Indian rosewood back and sides, ivoroid body binding, a Style 2 zipper backstrip, and Collings’ distinctive hand-poured appointments separate it from the standard OM2.

The Honduran mahogany neck uses Collings’ Hill Country profile, with a comfortable C transitioning toward a modified V and rounded fingerboard edges. The ebony fingerboard has a 14"-26" compound radius, 1 3/4" aged bone nut, gold mother-of-pearl short Diamonds and Squares inlays, and a 25 1/2" scale length.

Hill Country details continue throughout the guitar with a hand-poured tortoise pickguard, matching rosette ring, wedge, and heel cap. The East Indian rosewood peghead veneer intentionally omits the traditional front logo, instead using a stamped Collings logo on the rear of the peghead.

An ebony belly-style bridge with 2 5/16" string spacing, cut-through aged bone saddle, ebony bridge pins, and relic nickel Waverly tuners complete the build. A Collings deluxe hardshell case is included.
