The Bad Cat Mod Shop Hot Cat 50 is a serious all-in-one tube combo built for guitarists who need wide-range tones without giving up feel, response, or volume. Designed and built in Costa Mesa, California, this 50-watt 1x12 pairs the Hot Cat platform’s big cleans, aggressive crunch, and high-gain capability with a basketweave grille for a classic, no-nonsense look.

The Hot Cat 50 runs a pair of EL34 power tubes and four 12AX7 preamp tubes through a custom Bad Cat 12" Celestion speaker. Its two-channel layout covers a lot of ground, from glassy clean tones to classic rock punch and more aggressive high-gain sounds, with Lo and Hi modes adding another layer of control to each channel.

Both channels have independent gain and volume controls, with shared TMB EQ, global master volume, and presence. Studio-quality reverb, a buffered effects loop, line out, and individual 4, 8, and 16-ohm speaker outputs make this a flexible centerpiece for a live rig, studio setup, or pedalboard-heavy player.

The Baltic birch cabinet keeps the combo solid and road-ready, while the included two-button footswitch handles channel and mode switching. A fitted cover is included.
