The Collings C-00 in Sunburst is a vintage-inspired small-body acoustic built around a short-scale 00-style platform with a distinctly old-school feel. With a Sitka spruce top, Honduran mahogany back and sides, rosewood fingerboard and bridge, and Collings’ dedicated C-00 bracing pattern, it is intentionally voiced with a drier, more fundamental character than the standard Collings acoustic lineup.

The body uses a hand-voiced Sitka spruce top over solid Honduran mahogany back and sides. Collings’ custom C-00 X-bracing incorporates an abbreviated soundboard graft, while the closed-in C-00 Sunburst, ivoroid binding, tortoise pickguard, and walnut Style 1 backstrip reinforce the prewar-inspired aesthetic.

A Honduran mahogany neck uses the substantial C-00 Full V profile with rounded fingerboard edges. The rosewood fingerboard has a 14"-26" compound radius, 1 3/4" bone nut, mother-of-pearl dot inlays, and a short 24 7/8" scale length that reduces string tension and gives the guitar a noticeably different feel from Collings’ longer-scale models.

The rosewood straight-style bridge uses 2 5/16" string spacing and a cut-through bone saddle. An ebony peghead veneer with gold mother-of-pearl Collings logo and the model’s distinctive Haircut peghead profile complete the neck presentation.

Nickel Waverly tuners with oval ivoroid buttons, ivoroid bridge and end pins, and D’Addario EJ16 strings complete the build. A Collings deluxe hardshell case is included.
