This Limited Edition 1964 SG Standard Reissue takes the classic mid-’60s SG formula and rebuilds it around a solid Korina body finished in Antique Natural. The transparent VOS nitrocellulose finish puts the grain front and center, giving this SG a look that immediately separates it from the traditional mahogany versions.

The period-inspired build centers around Gibson Custom’s Authentic 1964 neck profile, a long neck tenon, and a rosewood fingerboard with aged trapezoid inlays and reissue medium-jumbo frets. It keeps the familiar dimensions and appointments of a ’64 SG while the Korina construction gives this limited run its own identity.

A matched pair of Custombucker Alnico 3 humbuckers handles the electronics, paired with the traditional two-volume, two-tone control layout and three-way toggle.

The hardware stays firmly rooted in the era with an ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic bridge, Maestro Vibrola, Kluson Deluxe tuners, nickel hardware, and black Top Hat knobs with silver inserts. A Lifton reissue hardshell case and Certificate of Authenticity are included.
