The Gibson Custom 1976 Les Paul Deluxe Reissue VOS Red Sparkle brings one of the most distinctive Les Paul eras into a bold Custom Shop finish. With its Red Sparkle VOS nitrocellulose lacquer, mini humbuckers, and ’70s-inspired construction, this Deluxe has a different feel and voice than a late-’50s Les Paul Reissue.

The body uses the period-style mahogany and maple sandwich construction with a carved maple top and no weight relief. The result is a Les Paul Deluxe build with focused attack, strong midrange, and the unmistakable feel of a ’70s-inspired solidbody.

A 3-piece maple neck with an Authentic 1976 profile gives the guitar a sturdy, fast feel. The rosewood fingerboard features trapezoid inlays, single-ply binding, 12" radius, reissue medium jumbo frets, and a nylon nut.

The mini humbuckers are the defining piece of this model. They deliver a tighter, brighter response than full-size humbuckers, with a focused voice that cuts well without losing the power of a Les Paul. Chrome hardware, a Nashville Tune-O-Matic bridge, Stop Bar tailpiece, and gold Top Hat knobs with silver inserts complete the build.
