Designed by Tone Shop Guitars and built by the Martin Custom Shop, this exclusive 18 Style Dreadnought is the result of our team's visit to the Martin factory, where we personally selected every set of sinker mahogany and developed the specifications from the ground up. Built around the rare combination of a sinker mahogany top and sinker mahogany back and sides, this guitar delivers a distinctive take on the classic Style 18 formula with exceptional warmth, responsiveness, and vintage-inspired character.

An all-sinker mahogany body produces a dry, woody voice with remarkable clarity, fundamental note separation, and an immediate response that rewards both light fingerstyle and aggressive flatpicking. Forward-shifted Golden Era hand-shaped scalloped Adirondack spruce bracing adds headroom and projection while allowing the guitar to remain lively and expressive across the entire dynamic range.

A GE Modified Low Oval neck with High Performance Taper provides effortless playability, while traditional Style 18 details—including faux tortoise binding, Old Style 18 rosette, ebony fingerboard and bridge, mahogany stain finish, and vintage-style Grover StaTite tuners—complete a guitar that is both understated and remarkably unique. This is a true Tone Shop exclusive, built from tonewoods we hand-selected alongside the Martin Custom Shop.
