Overview:

This custom Grand Concert 12-fret is an inspiring showcase for Hawaiian koa’s visual beauty and sonic virtues. Its compact, gloss-finished body is crafted of expertly hand-selected, gorgeously figured AA-grade koa with a four-piece Simons wedge back configuration. The result is a lap-friendly guitar that offers a punchy response with a bold midrange response, crisp trebles and a low end character that will grow warmer and sweeter as the wood matures. Inside, our V-Class bracing levels up the volume and sustain while improving pitch accuracy all the way up the satin-finished mahogany neck. The 12-fret design adds a hint of extra midrange heft and offers a slinkier, more relaxed fretting feel. Custom visual appointments include a single-ring paua rosette with a bound soundhole, a paua peghead logo, and paua/mother-of-pearl fretboard inlays in our stylish Longhorn motif, with bloodwood binding and purfling accenting koa’s reddish-brown hues. This custom build is outfitted with polished bronze tuners featuring ebony buttons and koa inlays, and it ships with ES2 electronics and a brown deluxe hardshell case.
