Overview

The Taylor Gold Label 517e expands the Gold Label Collection with a bold, deeper Grand Pacific body—designed by Andy Powers to deliver rich, “comfort food” acoustic tone. With a 3/8” deeper body than standard Grand Pacifics, the 517e boasts even more low-end, punch, and headroom while preserving Taylor’s signature playability.

A torrefied spruce top adds aged responsiveness and power, while solid mahogany back and sides infuse every note with warmth and soulful midrange. The innovative long-tenon Action Control Neck™ lets you easily dial in your ideal action with a simple turn—no string or neck removal required.

Premium touches include the elegant “Crest” inlay motif, cream binding, a distinctive Curve Wing Honduran rosewood bridge, and your choice of finishes (Natural, Sunburst, or Blacktop). The LR Baggs Element VTC system delivers dynamic, natural-sounding amplified tone for any gig.
