Epiphone Prophecy Flying V Orchid Bloom Satin w/bag

The Epiphone Prophecy Flying V in Orchid Bloom Satin brings a modern, performance-focused design to one of the most recognizable electric guitar shapes. Featuring a solid mahogany body with a highly figured flamed maple veneer, a thermally aged maple neck, and custom-voiced Fishman Fluence pickups, this redesigned Prophecy Flying V is built for players who prioritize speed, precision, and tonal versatility. The Orchid Bloom Satin finish highlights the figured maple top, while multi-ply binding and black nickel hardware give the guitar a distinctive contemporary appearance.

The solid mahogany Flying V body provides a resonant foundation with a focused midrange and strong sustain. Its flamed maple veneer adds visual depth beneath the Orchid Bloom Satin finish, complemented by multi-ply top binding. The thermally aged, one-piece maple neck features graphite rod reinforcement for additional stability and a streamlined HyperGlide profile designed for fast, comfortable playing. Its 25.5" scale length provides added string tension and definition, making the guitar particularly well suited for modern playing styles and lower tunings.

The bound ebony fingerboard features a 10"–14" compound radius, 24 stainless steel frets, and black mother-of-pearl block inlays. The compound radius provides a comfortable feel for chord work while allowing a flatter playing surface higher up the neck for lead playing and wide bends. A multi-ply-bound Flying V headstock features the Epiphone logo and a Custom split diamond inlay, completing the instrument's refined appearance.

Custom-voiced Fishman Fluence humbuckers, developed specifically for the Prophecy series, provide three distinct tonal voices. Players can access modern high-output active humbucker sounds, vintage-inspired PAF-style tones, and clear single-coil-style articulation through the push/pull master volume and tone controls. This expanded tonal range makes the Prophecy Flying V equally capable of aggressive high-gain sounds, articulate cleans, and more traditional rock tones.

Black nickel hardware includes locking Grover Rotomatic tuners, a Graph Tech nut, and a LockTone Modern bridge. The string-through-body tailpiece, influenced by Epiphone's Frequensator design, is engineered to balance string tension and sustain. Knurled control knobs and black pickup covers complement the Orchid Bloom finish. A Protector Ultralite case is included for transportation and storage.
