Designed for lower tunings and contemporary playing styles, this model features a mahogany body with a maple cap and highly figured flamed maple veneer, a thermally aged maple neck, and 24 stainless steel frets. The dark Obsidian Storm Satin finish, black nickel hardware, and black mother-of-pearl inlays give the instrument a cohesive, understated appearance.

The mahogany body features a maple cap topped with a figured flamed maple veneer, bringing depth and texture to the Obsidian Storm Satin finish. A Modern Contoured Heel improves access to the upper frets, while a rear belly contour provides additional playing comfort. These refinements preserve the familiar Les Paul silhouette while making the guitar more accommodating for extended-range playing.

The one-piece thermally aged maple neck features graphite reinforcement rods for increased stability and a satin finish for smooth movement. Its HyperGlide B profile is designed for comfortable, precise playing, while the 27" scale length and .012–.060 strings provide the tension needed for baritone tunings such as B standard. This extended scale helps maintain low-end definition and familiar chord shapes at lower pitches. The bound ebony fingerboard features a 10"–14" compound radius, 24 stainless steel frets, and black mother-of-pearl block inlays. A multi-ply-bound headstock with Epiphone's Custom split diamond inlay completes the neck appointments.

Custom-voiced Fishman Fluence humbuckers, developed specifically for the Prophecy series, provide three tonal voices ranging from modern high-output active humbucker sounds to vintage-inspired PAF-style character and articulate single-coil-inspired tones. Push/pull controls provide access to the different voices, allowing the guitar to handle aggressive high-gain rhythms, defined low-register passages, and cleaner sounds. The electronics are designed to retain clarity and articulation across the baritone's extended range.

A LockTone Modern bridge and Frequensator-inspired string-through-body tailpiece provide a stable foundation for sustain and balanced string tension. Locking Grover Rotomatic tuning machines and a Graph Tech nut support tuning stability, while black nickel hardware and knurled control knobs complement the Obsidian Storm Satin finish. A Protector Ultralite case is included for transport and storage.
