The Epiphone Prophecy Les Paul in Crimson Fog Satin brings modern performance features to the classic Les Paul design, combining custom-voiced Fishman Fluence pickups, a 25.5" scale length, and a streamlined neck with contemporary hardware. Part of Epiphone's redesigned Prophecy series, this model features a mahogany body with Ultra Modern weight relief, a maple cap, and a figured flamed maple veneer. The deep Crimson Fog Satin finish highlights the figured top, while black nickel hardware gives the guitar a cohesive, understated appearance.

The mahogany body features Ultra Modern weight relief to improve comfort, along with a Modern Contoured Heel for easier access to the upper frets. A rear belly contour further enhances playing comfort without changing the familiar Les Paul silhouette. The maple cap and figured flamed maple veneer add visual depth beneath the satin finish, complemented by multi-ply body binding.

The one-piece thermally aged maple neck features graphite reinforcement rods for additional stability and a satin finish for smooth movement. Its HyperGlide profile is designed for fast, comfortable playing, while the extended 25.5" scale length provides increased string tension and definition, particularly useful for lower tunings. The bound ebony fingerboard features a 10"–14" compound radius, 24 stainless steel frets, and black mother-of-pearl block inlays. A multi-ply-bound headstock with Epiphone's Custom split diamond inlay completes the instrument's distinctive styling.

Custom-voiced Fishman Fluence humbuckers, developed specifically for the Prophecy series, offer three distinct tonal voices: modern high-output active humbucker, vintage-inspired PAF-style humbucker, and clear single-coil-inspired sounds. Individual push/pull volume controls provide coil-splitting functions, while the push/pull tone controls select pickup voicings. This arrangement allows the guitar to move between aggressive high-gain sounds, traditional humbucker character, and more articulate clean tones.

A LockTone Modern bridge and through-body stringing system provide a stable foundation for sustain and string response. Inspired by the Frequensator design, the string-through tailpiece is engineered to balance string tension across the instrument. Locking Grover Rotomatic tuners and a Graph Tech nut complete the hardware package, while the included Protector Ultralite case provides protection for transport and storage.
