The five-ply maple/poplar body combines the natural resonance of a semi-hollow guitar with the sustain and feedback resistance provided by a solid maple center block. This construction allows the Riviera to deliver open, articulate clean tones while maintaining definition when pushed into overdrive. Traditional f-holes and single-ply binding around the top and back emphasize the instrument's classic ES-style silhouette. The glued-in mahogany neck features a comfortable Rounded C profile that provides a balanced feel for rhythm playing, chord work, and expressive leads.
