The Eventide H9 Harmonizer Gen 2 takes one of the most influential multi-effects pedals ever made and pushes it into an entirely new category. Built on the foundation of the original H9 platform, the Gen 2 expands dramatically with the full H90 algorithm library, upgraded ARM processing, a redesigned interface, and significantly deeper routing and performance flexibility—all while keeping the compact footprint that made the original H9 such a staple on modern pedalboards.

At the core of the H9 Gen 2 are 74 studio-grade algorithms covering everything from Eventide’s legendary harmonizer and pitch-shifting effects to delays, reverbs, modulation, synth textures, granular processing, distortion, looping, utilities, and multi-effects combinations. It includes the complete H90 and H9 Max libraries out of the box, along with over 1,000 presets and future algorithm expansion through firmware updates.

The updated interface is one of the biggest changes from previous H9 generations. A new 2.5" display, dedicated button pads, Quick Knobs, and multiple operating modes make the pedal far easier to navigate directly from the hardware itself—without relying entirely on an external app. Whether used in the studio, integrated into a MIDI-controlled touring rig, or dropped onto a compact pedalboard, the H9 Gen 2 feels substantially more modern and performance-focused than earlier versions.

Polyphonic processing is also a major part of the platform, powered by Eventide’s SIFT technology for advanced pitch-shifting and synth-style textures.
