EVH 5150 Iconic Series 15W 6L6 Head Black

The 5150 Iconic Series 15W 6L6 Head condenses EVH’s high-gain amp platform into a compact all-tube head with two channels and 15 watts of output. Channel one covers Clean and Overdrive sounds, while channel two handles Lead and Burn, providing multiple gain ranges without requiring a larger-format 5150 head.

The tube complement consists of a single 6L6 power tube and two ECC83S preamp tubes. Each channel has dedicated Gain and Volume controls, while a shared three-band EQ handles Low, Mid and High. Global Reverb, Resonance and Presence provide additional shaping, and the included two-button footswitch gives access to channel switching and the 6dB Clean Input Stage Boost.

For lower-volume use, a quarter-power setting reduces available headroom for home and studio applications. The head also provides a speaker-emulated 1/8" stereo headphone output, 1/8" stereo line output, effects loop and dual parallel speaker outputs with selectable 4-, 8- or 16-ohm impedance.

The Black version uses textured vinyl covering with a black metal grille, silver anodized aluminum front panel and black chicken-head controls. At 19.7" wide and 18 pounds, it offers the core controls and connectivity of the Iconic platform in a portable head format.
