Fender 75th Anniversary Player II Baritone Telecaster Maple Butterscotch Blonde

The Fender 75th Anniversary Player II Baritone Telecaster in Butterscotch Blonde combines classic Telecaster styling with an extended 27" scale length built for standard B-to-B tuning. As part of the Limited Edition 75th Anniversary Telecaster Collection, this model retains the familiar Telecaster pickup layout and controls while extending the instrument's range into lower pitches. Its alder body features a Butterscotch Blonde polyester finish, complemented by a three-ply parchment pickguard and maple fingerboard.

The maple neck uses Fender's Modern "C" profile with a satin urethane finish on the back. Its 9.5"-radius maple fingerboard features smooth rolled edges, 22 Medium Jumbo frets, and black dot inlays. The longer 27" scale helps maintain tension and definition with heavier strings, while the 1.685" synthetic bone nut preserves a familiar neck width.

A pair of Player Series Alnico 5 Telecaster single-coil pickups provides the guitar's electronics. The three-position blade switch offers individual bridge and neck selections or both pickups together, while master volume and tone controls provide straightforward adjustment. The combination retains traditional Telecaster pickup character while operating in the lower baritone register.

The six-saddle string-through-body bridge features block steel saddles for individual string intonation adjustment. Fender ClassicGear tuning machines, knurled flat-top control knobs, and nickel/chrome hardware complete the traditional Telecaster appointments. The instrument comes fitted with .013–.062 nickel-plated steel strings for its baritone setup.
