Fender American Professional Hot Shot Telecaster Maple Butterscotch Blonde w/case

The Fender American Professional Hot Shot Telecaster takes the familiar Telecaster format further with a V-Mod III Stratocaster single-coil positioned between the traditional bridge and neck Tele pickups. The resulting three-pickup layout combines classic Telecaster selections with Strat-inspired middle and in-between combinations. This version features an ash body in Butterscotch Blonde with a maple fingerboard and Aged White Pearloid pickguard.

Its maple neck uses Fender’s Deep “C” profile with smooth rolled fingerboard edges and a sculpted heel for comfortable access to the upper register. Fender’s “Super-Natural” satin urethane finish is applied to the back of the neck, while the headstock face is gloss urethane. The maple fingerboard has a 9.5" radius, 22 Narrow Tall frets, black dot inlays, and a bone nut.

The V-Mod III Telecaster bridge and neck pickups flank a V-Mod III Stratocaster middle pickup, with five-way switching controlling the primary combinations. A push-push tone control adds the neck pickup, expanding the available switching options. ClassicGear Precision potentiometers are used for the master volume and master tone controls.

A three-saddle top-load/string-through Telecaster bridge uses ClassicGear Compensated Brass Bullet saddles, providing flexible stringing options within the traditional three-saddle format. Fender Standard staggered tuning machines, nickel/chrome hardware, and a Micro-Tilt-equipped asymmetrical neck plate complete the setup.
