Created exclusively for Tone Shop Guitars in collaboration with the Fender Custom Shop to celebrate our 10-year anniversary, this limited-run 1963 Stratocaster Relic in 3-Tone Sunburst Sparkle reimagines a vintage classic with modern playability and unmistakable style. Only ten of these guitars were built worldwide, each one hand-finished and relic’d for authentic character straight from Fender’s Custom Shop in Corona, California.

In designing this guitar with Fender’s team, we started with one of our all-time favorite Strat years: 1963. It’s a shop favorite for its perfectly shaped early-’60s neck carve and round-lam rosewood fingerboard — nothing says “Texas Strat” quite like a ’63 with rosewood. But we wanted that classic 3-Tone Sunburst to do more than just nod to the past — we wanted it to pop. So we added just enough sparkle to light up a stage and aged it just enough that you won’t think twice about taking it to a gig and making everyone in the room put their sunglasses on.

The lightweight two-piece ash body, AA flame maple neck, and AAA round-lam rosewood fingerboard deliver the perfect balance of snap, warmth, and smooth playability. Hand-wound Fat ’60s Strat pickups provide the chime, punch, and round lows that define golden-era Strat tone, while the 9.5” radius, narrow tall 6105 frets, and early-’60s oval “C” profile make it feel effortlessly comfortable.

Finished in relic’d 3-Tone Sunburst Sparkle nitro lacquer with aged hardware, parchment plastics, and a Custom Shop brown case, this exclusive anniversary model captures everything we love about vintage Fenders — with just the right amount of flash.
