The 2-piece alder body (sorted for weight) is finished in vibrant Aged Surf Green nitrocellulose lacquer for maximum resonance and authentic ’60s style. Chrome/nickel hardware, an engraved limited edition neck plate, and a relic’d 60s tortoiseshell pickguard complete the iconic look.

The quarter-sawn maple neck is carved to a comfy, period-correct 1963 "C" profile (.830" at 1st fret, 1.00" at 12th), finished in medium-tint nitro for a silky, vintage feel. The AAA round-lam rosewood fretboard has a 9.5" radius and 21 narrow tall (6105) frets—ideal for bends and fast runs, while vintage Micarta white dot inlays and a bone nut provide old-school authenticity.

Electronics are classic and hot: a set of Hand-Wound Twisted Tele pickups (neck and bridge), wired up with the Modern Tele harness and Greasebucket™ tone circuit for powerful, clear, and versatile tone. You get all the snap, twang, and punch of a great early-’60s Tele, with wiring that retains clarity even as you roll back the highs.

The Custom Shop 1963 Tele Journeyman Relic comes complete with vintage Tele bridge, top-hat switch tip, aged aluminum knurled knobs, American Vintage string tree, and a black Custom Shop Strat/Tele case. Limited certificate of authenticity included.
