This Fender Custom Shop American Custom Stratocaster pairs a transparent Sapphire Blue NOS lacquer finish with a two-piece ash body, roasted birdseye maple neck, gold hardware, and a trio of hand-wound Dual-Mag II Strat pickups. The combination gives the guitar a decidedly custom look while keeping the core layout rooted in vintage Stratocaster design.

The ash body uses ’57-style deep contours and a ’56 Strat body style, allowing the grain to remain visible beneath the Sapphire Blue Transparent finish. An eight-hole black aluminum pickguard provides a strong contrast against the blue finish and gold hardware.

The one-piece roasted birdseye maple neck uses a substantial ’54 Soft V profile measuring approximately .900" at the first fret and .985" at the 12th. A 9.5"-12" compound radius, 21 Jumbo 6100 frets, 1.650" bone nut, and rolled-style vintage proportions give the neck a traditional foundation with a more modern fretboard setup.

Three Fender Custom Shop hand-wound Dual-Mag II Strat pickups handle the electronics, with a reverse-wound/reverse-polarity middle pickup. The Fat ’50s-style control setup incorporates a half-blender circuit, paired with a five-way CRL selector and 250K pots.

Gold Custom Shop vintage Strat hardware, gold Fender-logo vintage tuners, and a contoured four-bolt neck plate complete the build. A Fender Custom Shop Strat/Tele hardshell case is included.
