Fender Custom Shop Masterbuilt Dennis Galuzka 1960 Tele Custom Brazilian CZ591732
About This Guitar
Serial: CZ591732
Designed by Tone Shop Guitars in collaboration with Fender Custom Shop Master Builder Dennis Galuzka, this one-of-one 1960 Tele Custom is the result of a shared vision brought to life during our visit to the Fender Custom Shop. Every detail—from the rare Chartreuse Sparkle finish to the pickup pairing and premium wood selection—was intentionally chosen to create a Tele unlike anything else in the Custom Shop lineup.
The bound two-piece ash body wears a Journeyman Relic Chartreuse Sparkle finish that immediately stands apart while remaining unmistakably vintage-inspired. A roasted 5A Birdseye maple neck is paired with an exceptionally rare Brazilian rosewood slab fingerboard, combining beautiful figuring with the smooth feel and unmistakable response that collectors seek. The early '60s-inspired "52 Style U" neck profile offers substantial vintage character while the 9.5" radius and narrow tall frets provide effortless modern playability.
Dennis equipped this build with one of the most versatile pickup combinations you'll find on a Telecaster—a hand-wound Jazzmaster neck pickup paired with a hand-wound Crushed Blackguard Tele bridge pickup. The result is everything from warm, piano-like cleans to the unmistakable bite and twang of a great early Tele. Combined with period-correct appointments, Journeyman Relic aging, and the craftsmanship of one of Fender's most respected Master Builders, this is a truly unique instrument that exists only because Tone Shop and Dennis set out to build something special together.
