Fender Limited Edition '65 Deluxe Reverb Two-Tone Vanilla/Cocoa G12-65

The Fender Limited Edition '65 Deluxe Reverb in Two-Tone Vanilla/Cocoa brings distinctive cosmetics and a Celestion G12-65 speaker to one of Fender's most recognizable tube amplifier designs. Delivering 22 watts of all-tube power through a single 12" speaker, this special edition retains the classic black-panel Deluxe Reverb circuit, tube-driven spring reverb, and Fender vibrato while introducing a unique two-tone cabinet treatment. The Vanilla/Cocoa covering and Brown and Gold grille cloth give the amplifier a vintage-inspired appearance that stands apart from the traditional black version.

The '65 Deluxe Reverb is known for its clear, responsive clean tones, smooth breakup, and manageable power output. Its 22-watt circuit uses a pair of 6V6 Groove Tubes output tubes and a 5AR4 rectifier tube, providing the dynamic response and natural compression associated with classic Fender tube amplifiers. The combination of moderate wattage and a 1x12 configuration makes it well suited for recording, rehearsals, and live performances where players want to push an amplifier into natural overdrive without the volume requirements of a larger Fender combo.

This limited-edition model replaces the standard Jensen speaker with a 12" Celestion G12-65. Known for its balanced response, smooth upper frequencies, and controlled low end, the G12-65 gives the Deluxe Reverb a different tonal character while preserving the clarity and responsiveness of the original amplifier design. Its ability to handle driven guitar tones makes it a useful pairing for players who rely on overdrive pedals or prefer to push the amplifier's natural breakup.

Two independent channels provide a range of familiar Fender sounds. The Normal channel offers straightforward clean-to-overdriven tones, while the Vibrato channel adds access to Fender's tube-driven spring reverb and tremolo circuit, traditionally labeled "Vibrato." Each channel features two inputs, allowing players to choose between different input sensitivities. The amplifier's four 12AX7 preamp tubes and two 12AT7 tubes support its preamp, reverb, and modulation circuitry, delivering the characteristic depth and movement of a vintage-style Deluxe Reverb.

The Two-Tone Vanilla/Cocoa covering and Brown and Gold grille cloth give this limited edition a distinctive presentation while retaining the traditional Deluxe Reverb control layout and cabinet design. A two-button footswitch provides convenient control over the reverb and vibrato effects, and an amplifier cover is included. With its Celestion speaker, classic Fender tube circuit, and special-edition cosmetics, this '65 Deluxe Reverb offers a familiar amplifier platform with a unique tonal and visual identity.
