Fender Limited Edition Brent Mason Telecaster Maple Black w/case

The Fender Limited Edition Brent Mason Telecaster in Black recreates the heavily modified late-’60s Telecaster that became one of Nashville’s most famous session guitars. Part of Fender’s Stories Collection, it brings together a Glaser Bender system, three Seymour Duncan pickups, custom switching, and a gloss black ash body in a build designed around the versatility Brent Mason needed across decades of studio work.

The ash body is finished in gloss black and paired with a maple neck shaped to a late-’60s “C” profile. The maple fingerboard uses a vintage-style 7.25" radius, 21 Vintage Tall frets, black pearloid dot inlays, and a 1.625" bone nut.

The pickup layout is one of the defining features of the design. A Seymour Duncan Vintage Mini Humbucker sits in the neck position, joined by a Hot Stack Strat pickup in the middle and Vintage Stack Tele pickup at the bridge. The result is an SSH configuration designed to cover a much wider range than a traditional two-pickup Telecaster.

Custom electronics include a master volume, dedicated middle pickup volume, and master tone with push/pull switching. The three-way blade handles the bridge and neck pickups, while the push/pull tone control brings the middle pickup in or out of the circuit for additional combinations.

A six-saddle Telecaster bridge incorporates the Glaser Bender system, while Deluxe locking tuners, Dunlop Dual-Locking strap buttons, nickel/gold-plated hardware, and a deluxe hardshell case complete the package.
