The Fender Limited Edition Player Fusion Jaguar Baritone in Black combines the Jaguar's distinctive offset design with a 27" baritone scale, dual high-output humbuckers, and specialized electronics for extended-range playing. Tuned B-to-B, this model is built for lower-register riffs and chord voicings while maintaining the familiar six-string Jaguar format. Its alder body features a Black gloss polyester finish with a three-ply black pickguard, chrome-covered pickups, and a fixed bridge.

The maple neck uses a Thin "C" profile with a satin urethane finish and four-bolt construction. Its 12"-radius ebony fingerboard features 22 jumbo frets, white pearloid dot inlays, and a 1.685" synthetic bone nut. The flatter fingerboard radius supports bending and faster lead work, while the extended scale length maintains tension with the heavier strings used for baritone tuning.

A pair of Player II Modified humbuckers provides the guitar's core sound, with master volume, master TBX tone, and three-way pickup switching. Fender's Spin-a-Split circuit occupies the traditional Jaguar rhythm control section, using roller controls to progressively reduce each humbucker toward single-coil operation. This allows adjustment between full humbucking output and leaner single-coil sounds without relying on a conventional two-position coil split. The TBX tone circuit provides additional tonal shaping.

The Adjusto-Matic bridge and stop tailpiece provide a straightforward fixed-bridge configuration, complemented by Deluxe Staggered Cast/Sealed Locking tuning machines. Knurled dome control knobs, nickel/chrome hardware, and .013–.062 nickel-plated steel strings complete the instrument.
