Overview

The Fender Player II Jazz Bass is a modern take on one of Fender’s most proven bass designs, offering classic J Bass tone with updates aimed at faster feel and more comfortable playability. With its alder body and Player Series Alnico V single-coil pickups, it delivers the familiar mix of punchy lows, growling mids, and crisp highs that works across virtually any style.

This version features a maple fingerboard and a Modern “C” maple neck with a satin urethane finish on the back, giving it a smooth, broken-in feel right out of the box. Rolled fingerboard edges, a 9.5" radius, and medium jumbo frets make it easy to move around the neck, while open-gear tuners and a 4-saddle bridge keep everything stable and dialed in.
