Fender Pugilist Distortion V2

Built around two independent distortion engines in one enclosure, the Pugilist V2 gives players a wide range of thick, saturated drive tones with a flexible dual-footswitch layout. Each engine has its own Gain, Tone, and Level controls, making it easy to dial in two distinct distortion sounds and engage them separately.

Engine A is voiced for treble-rich lead drive tones, while Engine B delivers thicker, heavier distortion. Used individually, each side gives you its own flavor of gain. Used together, the Pugilist V2 opens up a much wider range of stacked and blended distortion textures.

The Path switch is the heart of the pedal, letting you run the two engines in three different routing modes. The two Series modes send one distortion circuit into the other for cascading gain that can be layered like amp channels. Parallel mode runs the two engines side by side, allowing you to blend and balance them with the Level controls for a more customized distortion voice.

Global Mid Cut and Bass Boost switches add another layer of tone shaping, helping you tighten, thicken, or reshape the final sound depending on your guitar, amp, and mix. With switchable true or buffered bypass, relay-based auto-bypass, top-mounted jacks, and multiswitch-enabled footswitches for momentary or latching operation, the Pugilist V2 is built for serious pedalboards.
