Fender The Bends Compressor V2

The Bends V2 is an analog compressor and boost pedal designed for smooth, low-noise dynamic control on guitar or bass. It uses a unique take on OTA technology for real-time gain control, helping balance louder and quieter passages while adding sustain, thickness, and a more controlled feel under the hands.

The compression side keeps the layout simple with a three-speed Attack switch, fine-tuned Release control, and Input control for setting the level that triggers compression. A Compression LED gives a clear visual indicator when the circuit is working, making it easier to dial in the amount of response you want.

An active Tone control with a center detent lets you cut or boost treble to keep the signal clear, while the Blend control mixes clean signal back in for a natural balance of dynamics and compression. That makes the Bends V2 especially useful when you want sustain and control without flattening the entire feel of the instrument.

A rear-mounted Vintage switch reshapes the compression character from crisp and precise to smoother and more colored, with a touch of natural saturation. It gives the pedal two distinct personalities without making the controls complicated.

The independent ultra-clean boost can be placed before or after the compressor with the Comp Pre/Post switch. Put the boost before compression for extra sustain and compression push, or place it after the compressor for a level lift into the rest of your signal chain.

With switchable true or buffered bypass, relay-based auto-bypass, multiswitch-enabled footswitch behavior, and a practical compressor/boost layout, the Bends V2 is a strong utility pedal for adding control, sustain, and clean level boost to any board.
