Fender Tone Master '59 Twin Joe Bonamassa Edition

The Tone Master ’59 Twin-Amp Joe Bonamassa Edition is Fender’s first signature Tone Master amplifier, developed around the character of the late-’50s high-powered tweed Twins that have long been part of Joe Bonamassa’s touring and recording rigs. Its digital circuitry is based on the classic Fender 5F8-A circuit, combining that platform with modern output control, recording connectivity and onboard effects.

Two 12" Celestion JB85 NEO Signature speakers were designed specifically for the amp, providing a lightweight 2x12 configuration inside a solid pine cabinet. The rear-panel output selector offers full power plus five attenuated settings, making the amp easier to adapt to different stage, studio and home-volume requirements. A Vintage-Tight switch provides an alternate low-end response.

The traditional Normal and Bright channels each provide two 1/4" inputs, while convolution reverb is controlled directly from the top panel. Fender also adds a 1/4" effects loop for integrating external effects into the signal path.

A balanced XLR line output provides level control, ground lift and three impulse-response cabinet simulations, with the speaker IRs configurable through Fender’s Tone Master IR Manager app. USB-C connectivity supports recovery and firmware updates, and universal 100V-240V operation adds flexibility for travel. A cover and two-button footswitch are included.
