The Friedman PLEX 50 Vintage Series Head is Dave Friedman's meticulous recreation of his favorite 1968 JMP Super Lead, capturing the response, feel, and harmonic character that made the original amplifier so inspiring. Built as a faithful sonic interpretation rather than a modern reinterpretation, the PLEX combines vintage British voicing with premium modern construction and carefully selected components.

Featuring independent Lead and Normal channel volumes with internal channel jumpering, the PLEX offers everything from articulate clean tones to rich, dynamic overdrive. A post-phase inverter master volume makes it easier to achieve driven tones at manageable volumes, while custom USA-made transformers and an all-tube signal path preserve the punch and responsiveness players expect from a classic British-style amplifier.
