Gibson Acoustic J-45 Standard Rosewood Rosewood Burst LR Baggs Hi-Fi DNA w/case

The Gibson J-45 Standard Rosewood takes the familiar round-shoulder J-45 platform and pairs it with solid rosewood back and sides. A solid Sitka spruce top and scalloped X-bracing form the foundation, while multi-ply top binding, single-ply back binding and a Rosewood Burst gloss nitrocellulose lacquer finish distinguish this version visually.

The mahogany neck uses Gibson’s SlimTaper profile and a compound dovetail neck joint secured with hot hide glue. Its Indian rosewood fingerboard has a 12" radius, 20 standard frets and mother-of-pearl dot inlays. A 24.75" scale and TUSQ nut maintain familiar J-45 dimensions, while gold Grover Rotomatic tuners complement the Rosewood Burst finish.

A reverse-belly rosewood bridge is fitted with a TUSQ saddle and TUSQ bridge pins. The traditional teardrop tortoiseshell pickguard keeps the remaining appointments closely tied to the established J-45 design.

The Gibson-exclusive Baggs HiFi DNA pickup system uses two lightweight bridge-plate sensors, each paired with an optimized preamp. Soundhole-mounted volume and tone controls provide discreet adjustment, and a Gibson hardshell case is included.
