Gibson Acoustic J-45 Standard Vintage Sunburst LR Baggs Hi-Fi DNA w/case

The Gibson J-45 Standard pairs the familiar round-shoulder dreadnought design with Gibson-exclusive Baggs HiFi DNA electronics. Finished in Vintage Sunburst gloss nitrocellulose lacquer, it uses a solid Sitka spruce top with solid mahogany back and sides, multi-ply top binding and single-ply back binding.

The mahogany neck has Gibson’s SlimTaper profile and a compound dovetail neck joint secured with hot hide glue. Its rosewood fingerboard has a 12" radius, 20 standard frets and mother-of-pearl dot inlays, while the 24.75" scale and TUSQ nut provide the traditional J-45 playing dimensions. Grover Rotomatic tuners handle tuning duties.

A rosewood belly-up bridge is fitted with a TUSQ saddle and bridge pins, complemented by the traditional teardrop tortoiseshell pickguard. The gloss nitrocellulose lacquer finish and straightforward appointments keep this version closely tied to the established J-45 aesthetic.

The Baggs HiFi DNA system uses two lightweight bridge-plate sensors, each connected to its own optimized preamp. Discreet soundhole-mounted volume and tone controls provide quick adjustment while keeping the exterior of the guitar uncluttered. A hardshell case is included.
