This Ultra Heavy Aged Vintage Burst version delivers the feel of a guitar that has lived a long, hard-playing life. Murphy Lab aging goes far beyond finish checking alone, recreating decades of wear, lacquer sinking, hardware oxidation, softened edges, and the tactile broken-in feel that players associate with exceptional vintage instruments.

Built with a 3-ply maple/poplar/maple semi-hollow body and solid maple centerblock, the ’59 ES-335 balances resonance and airiness with the sustain, feedback control, and punch of a solidbody design. The result is a platform equally comfortable covering blues, jazz, rock, roots, and nearly anything in between.

The solid mahogany neck features an authentic Medium C profile paired with a rosewood fingerboard, delivering the substantial but comfortable feel that helped define late-50s Gibson necks. A pair of Custombuckers complete the package with open, articulate vintage-style PAF response—rich mids, dynamic touch sensitivity, and the kind of harmonic complexity that makes a great ES-335 difficult to put down.
