This 1959 Les Paul Standard Reissue captures the look and construction of one of the most sought-after electric guitars ever made, finished here in Dirty Lemon with Gibson Custom’s lightly aged VOS treatment.

At just 8 lb 6.5 oz, this example features a one-piece lightweight mahogany body with no weight relief and a two-piece figured maple top. The nitrocellulose VOS finish adds a subtle vintage patina while allowing the figuring and faded Dirty Lemon burst to remain the centerpiece.

The solid mahogany neck features Gibson’s 50s Rounded Medium C profile and a long-tenon, hide-glue joint. An Indian rosewood fingerboard with a 12" radius, Historic medium-jumbo frets, cellulose nitrate trapezoid inlays, and a nylon nut completes the period-inspired feel.

A pair of Custombucker Alnico 3 humbuckers provides the electronics, wired through CTS 500K audio-taper pots and paper-in-oil capacitors. An ABR-1 bridge, lightweight aluminum Stop Bar, Kluson Single Line/Single Ring tuners, and historically inspired plastics round out the build.

A Brown/Pink Reissue 5-Latch hardshell case and Certificate of Authenticity are included.
