This Gibson Custom Country Western takes the classic square-shoulder design in a distinctive direction with Cherry-stained mahogany back and sides and a satin finish. The Country Western platform pairs a Sitka spruce top with mahogany back and sides, along with multi-ply top and back binding and the model’s clean, unadorned yellow tortoiseshell pickguard.

The mahogany neck uses Gibson’s Round profile and a 24.75" scale length, with a dovetail neck joint and bound rosewood fingerboard. A 12" radius, standard frets, mother-of-pearl split-parallelogram inlays and a bone nut retain the traditional Country Western playing specifications.

Hardware includes a rosewood belly-up bridge, bone saddle, TUSQ bridge pins and nickel Gotoh tuners with white buttons. These understated appointments complement the Cherry-stained mahogany and keep the focus on the Country Western’s vintage-inspired design.

Baggs HiFi DNA electronics provide onboard amplification through two lightweight bridge-plate sensors, with discreet volume and tone controls mounted at the soundhole. A Gibson hardshell case is included.
