For this Dealer Select Firebird, we worked directly with Gibson Custom to reimagine the 1965 Non-Reverse Firebird V in a way that feels unmistakably rock-ready while still honoring the original mid-’60s mojo. The Ebony finish paired with Murphy Lab Ultra Light Aging gives it that quietly dangerous, lived-in attitude — clean, mean, and unapologetically vintage-leaning.

The non-reverse body adds a slightly warmer, rounder voice than its reverse-body sibling, and the dual Firebird pickups bring snap, bite, and sustain without harsh top-end. Add the Maestro Vibrola, and you’ve got expressive shimmer and subtle wobble on tap without losing tuning stability or punch. This one looks like it rolled straight out of a late-’60s stage shot — and it plays with that broken-in confidence, too.
