This Gibson Custom Dove is a Dealer Select build that reworks the classic square-shoulder platform with a distinctive double-pickguard layout and Murphy Lab Light Aging. The Sitka spruce top is finished in Cobra Burst, while the maple back and sides and mahogany neck receive a Trans Ebony finish, giving this individual build a dramatic two-tone appearance.

The body pairs Sitka spruce with maple back and sides and features multi-ply cream binding, checkerboard back marquetry and Dove appointments. Two aged tortoise-style Dove pickguards flank the soundhole, each carrying the model’s traditional mother-of-pearl Dove inlay. The rosewood Dove bridge adds another mother-of-pearl Dove inlay.

A mahogany neck uses a Round profile and joins the body at the 14th fret. The bound rosewood fingerboard has a 12" radius, 20 standard small-crown frets and mother-of-pearl parallelogram inlays. A bone nut and aged nickel Grover Keystone tuners complete the setup, while the bound headstock carries mother-of-pearl Gibson block and crown inlays.

Murphy Lab Light Aging is applied across the instrument, including the finish, hardware and double pickguards, giving the custom appointments a gently aged presentation. Electronics are handled by a VTC pickup system, and a Gibson hardshell case and Murphy Lab certificate are included.
