This Gibson Custom J-45 is a Dealer Select build that modifies the familiar J-45 Standard formula with a long-scale configuration. A Sitka spruce top is paired with mahogany back and sides, while the top receives a Tri-Burst finish and the back and sides are finished in Tobacco Brown. Full-gloss lacquer covers the body and neck, with multi-ply cream top binding and cream back binding completing the body appointments.

The mahogany neck uses a Slim Taper profile and joins the body at the 14th fret. Its rosewood fingerboard has a 12" radius, 20 standard small-crown frets and mother-of-pearl dot inlays. The defining change is its long scale, giving this custom J-45 a different configuration from the standard short-scale model.

A long-scale rosewood belly-up bridge is fitted with mother-of-pearl dot inlays, a TUSQ saddle and TUSQ bridge pins. Nickel Grover Rotomatic tuners, a firestripe teardrop pickguard and mother-of-pearl Gibson block and crown headstock inlays complete the traditional hardware and visual appointments.

LR Baggs VTC electronics provide onboard amplification with the output integrated into the endpin jack. This USA-made custom build includes a Gibson Acoustic Custom certificate and Modern Bronco dreadnought hardshell case.
