The Gibson Custom 1959 ES-345 Reissue Heavy Aged Ebony brings together one of Gibson’s most elegant ES designs with a rare Ebony finish, Bigsby tailpiece, gold hardware, and the added tonal flexibility of a Varitone circuit. It is a bold take on a late-’50s ES-345, built with the visual presence and expanded control set that make the model stand apart.

The semi-hollow body uses layered maple/poplar/maple construction with multi-ply binding on the top and back. A solid maple centerblock adds sustain and feedback resistance, giving the guitar the air of an ES model with the control needed for louder stages.

The mahogany neck features an Authentic 1959 profile and rosewood fingerboard with split-parallelogram inlays. The 24.75" scale length, 22 frets, and nylon nut keep the feel rooted in the golden-era Gibson ES formula.

A pair of Custombucker Alnico 3 pickups delivers open, dynamic humbucker tone, while the ES-345 control layout adds a mono Varitone circuit alongside the traditional two-volume, two-tone setup and 3-way toggle. The Bigsby tailpiece brings added expression, and the Heavy Aged Ebony finish gives the guitar a strong vintage character.
