This Limited Edition 1968 Les Paul Custom Reissue takes one of Gibson’s most recognizable late-’60s designs and gives it a completely different look with an Olive Drab top, contrasting Ebony back, and a Murphy Lab Heavy Aged finish.

The solid mahogany body is paired with a carved maple top and multi-ply binding, while the mahogany neck uses Gibson’s Authentic 1968 profile and a long neck tenon. An ebony fingerboard with block inlays, a 12" radius, and reissue medium-jumbo frets keeps the construction firmly rooted in the late-’60s Les Paul Custom formula.

A pair of T-Type humbuckers delivers the electronics package, wired to the traditional Les Paul Custom layout with individual volume and tone controls for each pickup and a three-way toggle.

Nickel hardware gives this version a different attitude than the more familiar gold-equipped Custom, with an ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic bridge, Stop Bar tailpiece, and Kluson Waffleback tuners completing the vintage-inspired hardware package. The Murphy Lab Heavy Aged nitrocellulose lacquer adds extensive checking and wear throughout for the look and feel of a well-used vintage instrument.

A 1968 Les Paul Custom Reissue hardshell case and Certificate of Authenticity are included.
