This Gibson Custom Made 2 Measure Hummingbird takes the familiar Hummingbird platform in a very different direction, pairing a Sitka spruce top with maple back and sides and finishing the entire instrument in Alpine White. The top, back, sides, and neck all receive a full-gloss finish, giving this custom build a striking look without changing the core Hummingbird identity.

The J-30 body construction uses a Sitka spruce top with maple back and sides. Cream multi-ply binding frames both the top and back, while the traditional Hummingbird-style pickguard keeps the visual connection to the model’s heritage.

The two-piece maple neck uses a Round profile, short scale, and 14th-fret neck joint. A rosewood fingerboard features a 12" radius, 1.725" nut width, 20 frets, cream binding, and mother-of-pearl parallelogram inlays. Mother-of-pearl Gibson block and crown inlays complete the headstock.

A rosewood belly-up bridge is fitted with a TUSQ saddle and TUSQ bridge pins, while Grover nickel Rotomatic tuners handle tuning duties. The guitar is equipped with LR Baggs VTC electronics and an endpin jack for straightforward amplified use.

This Made 2 Measure build is completed with an Ibex Hummingbird pickguard, Gibson Acoustic Custom certificate, Gibson Custom Hummingbird interior label, and a Dreadnaught Modern Bronco case.
