Built as a Tone Shop Guitars Dealer Select, this Gibson Custom Les Paul Custom takes the classic Custom format and gives it a highly figured, Tone Shop-selected 7A quilted maple top, chambered mahogany body, and striking Ocean Blue finish.

The handpicked quilted maple top is the visual centerpiece, with deep figure brought forward by the Ocean Blue burst. Paired with multi-ply Les Paul Custom binding and nickel hardware, it has a clean custom look that stands apart from a traditional black or gold Custom.

The chambered mahogany body brings the familiar Les Paul Custom foundation into a more comfortable weight range while adding resonance and liveliness to the feel. At 8 lb 7.7 oz, this one keeps the luxury and authority of a Custom without feeling overly heavy.

The solid mahogany neck features a SlimTaper profile, ebony fingerboard, block mother-of-pearl inlays, 12" radius, and 22 medium jumbo frets. It is built for a smooth, familiar playing experience with the dressed-up feel expected from a Les Paul Custom.

A Gibson 498R in the neck and 498T in the bridge provide warm, clear humbucker tones with enough output and definition for clean work, driven rhythm, and lead playing. The hand-wired harness uses CTS pots and a 3-way Switchcraft selector for a classic control layout.
