It delivers a powerful, focused voice with tight bass response while maintaining the articulation, clarity, and dynamic control needed for high-gain playing. Gibson designed the ELEV8 Plus to pair with the standard ELEV8 in the neck position for a complementary modern humbucker setup.

This version features exposed double black bobbins, wax-potted construction, and 4-conductor wiring. The 4-conductor design supports coil splitting and advanced switching options, allowing players to move between the pickup’s full humbucking sound and brighter, more cutting voices when paired with compatible controls.
