The Gibson ELEV8 Rhythm humbucker is a neck-position pickup built around an Alnico 8 magnet and custom-gauge coil wire, marking Gibson’s first use of Alnico 8 in its pickup designs. The standard 10k ELEV8 is voiced for powerful, focused modern tones with a tight low-end response while retaining articulation, clarity, and dynamic control, making it particularly well suited to high-gain applications.

This Rhythm version features traditional Gibson neck spacing, exposed double black bobbins, wax-potted construction, and versatile 4-conductor wiring. The 4-conductor design supports coil splitting and advanced switching configurations, giving players additional tonal options beyond the pickup’s full humbucking voice.
