Gibson Les Paul Standard 60s Faded Vintage Bourbon Burst w/case

The Gibson USA Les Paul Standard 60s Faded in Vintage Bourbon Burst brings the early-’60s Les Paul formula into a stripped-back satin finish that lets the figured maple top do the work. An AA figured maple top, non-weight-relieved mahogany body, and Vintage Bourbon Burst satin nitrocellulose finish give it a broken-in look without artificial aging.

The solid mahogany body uses traditional Les Paul construction with no weight relief, topped with AA figured maple and framed by single-ply cream binding. The thinner satin nitrocellulose finish gives the Faded model a distinctly different presentation from the gloss Les Paul Standard while retaining the core construction.

A mahogany neck uses Gibson’s SlimTaper profile with a 24.75" scale length. The bound rosewood fingerboard features a 12" radius, 22 medium jumbo frets, acrylic trapezoid inlays, and a Graph Tech nut.

A pair of 60s Burstbucker humbuckers with Alnico 5 magnets handles the electronics. They’re connected to two volume and two tone controls, hand-wired with Orange Drop capacitors and operated through a traditional three-way toggle switch.

An ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic bridge, aluminum Stop Bar tailpiece, Grover Rotomatic tuners with Kidney buttons, nickel hardware, and gold Top Hat knobs with silver reflectors complete the early-’60s-inspired specification. A Gibson hardshell case is included.
