Gretsch Limited Edition Electromatic Black Limba Jet Ebony Sunburst

This Limited Edition Electromatic Black Limba Jet puts black limba at the center of the design, using the wood for its chambered body, carved and bound top, and neck. The Sunburst finish highlights the grain of the black limba, while gold hardware and a bound ebony fingerboard give this limited-edition Jet a distinctive look within the Electromatic Collection.

The body incorporates sculpted forearm and body contours along with a rounded heel. Its black limba neck uses Gretsch’s Performance “C” profile and a 24.88" scale, paired with a 12"-radius bound ebony fingerboard, 22 medium jumbo frets and Pearloid Neo-Classic Thumbnail inlays. A Graph Tech NuBone nut measures 1.6875" wide.

A pair of PureVolt Twin Six humbuckers handles the electronics, with individual tone controls for the neck and bridge pickups and a master volume equipped with treble bleed. Push-pull switching on each tone control independently splits its respective humbucker, expanding the available pickup combinations beyond the standard three-position selector.

The hardware centers around Gretsch’s LockDown locking bridge, accompanied by sealed die-cast tuners and gold hardware throughout. A black Plexi pickguard and high-gloss finish complete the presentation.
